It is a real privilege to welcome you to Walberton & Binsted CE Primary School.

Our Christian vision is that together, we are bold and courageous learners, guided by God’s love. Inspired by the words, “Be bold, be strong, for the Lord your God is with you” – Joshua 1:9, we are committed to creating a school where every child is encouraged to grow in confidence, character and curiosity.

At Walberton & Binsted, we want our children to be bold and courageous learners: children who ask thoughtful questions, take pride in their work, challenge themselves, learn from mistakes and develop the resilience to keep going when things feel difficult. We want them to be brave enough to try, strong enough to persevere and reflective enough to grow.

We believe that children can only achieve their God-given potential when they feel safe, valued and that they belong. For that reason, our school is proudly child-centred, nurturing and inclusive. We take time to know each child well, to understand what helps them thrive and to support them as individuals. At the same time, we have high expectations for learning, behaviour and personal development, because we believe every child is capable of achieving great things.
