Y6 - Weald and Downland Museum - Sep 2024
Year 6 visited the Weald and Downland Museum today as part of their Tudor Topic. They visited the Winkhurst Tudor Kitchen, Bayleaf Farmstead, Cowfold Barn and Pendean Farmhouse, which was one of the first homes to have proper chimneys in 1586. The children had lots of fun finding out about life in the Tudor times and then finally had time to complete some sketching. We had lots of positive comments by volunteers and visitors about how polite and well mannered the children were too! Well done Year 6 and a lovely day in the Sussex sunshine!
