Y4 - Invaders and Settlers Day - Feb 2025

Blue Class have invaded!

Blue Class came into school on Monday dressed as fearless Vikings to celebrate their Vikings and settlers History study! 

Over the last few weeks, the children explored life as a Viking  and most recently, immersed themselves in designing and constructing longships. 

The afternoon with families was celebrated with a wonderful Viking dance/ chant from the ship to land and the children shared with their parents a selection of their favourite learning and freshly baked bread drizzled in honey from the morning’s cooking!  Viking bread was a hearty, heavy and warming bread perfect for serving with stews or soups.
