Japanese Children's Day in Y4.

Year 4 had a great day celebrating Japanese Children’s day.  They started the day with Radio Taiso, this is a 3 minute exercise routine that has been practised for nearly 100 years in Japan.

The rest of the day was spent learning about the Japanese art of calligraphy and the Japanese number system. They also made Koinobori (carp flyers) which symbolize strength and courage and Hato Sabure (butter biscuits).
