Corporate Challenge Road Race - Race One - Feb 2024

Well done to all 14 of our runners who ran so well in the rain on Wednesday evening in Chichester in the first of three road races over the coming weeks. Despite the conditions, the children ran some really fast times, Notable results were:

Jack - 8th in the Y6 boys' race
Natalie - 5th in the Y6 girls' race
Ella - 14th in the Y5 girls' race. 

Edward (Y6 boys), Emily and Ellen (Y6 girls) and Nancy (Y5 girls) were also just outside the top 20 in their races. 

In terms of the team event after one race, the boys are a respectable 12th (out of 62 teams) and for the girls, Walberton 'A' are 3rd and Walberton 'B' are 14th (out of 38 teams). Well done to all our runners!
