We enjoyed exploring the different areas, including the dry moat, beautiful gardens and grand Baron’s Hall. We bravely climbed the winding stairs to the top of the Keep and found out about what happened if people tried to invade. We also explored some of the armour and clothing that different people wore in the castle, depending on their role and we particularly enjoyed dressing up in these! The children asked some fantastic questions and it was a great experience exploring such a wonderful castle.
